Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristoforo Brillante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 3rd minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Sforza in the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of AC Roma booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Alvaro Sforza tried to sneak it across the goal line. AC Roma's Cristoforo Brillante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 15th minute of play. If Viriato Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Sforza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Alvaro Sforza sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Sforza's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Alvaro Sforza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza in the 23rd minute of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Alvaro Sforza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 1-0. A collision led to AC Roma getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Anıl Akdoruk hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 38th minute of play forced AC Roma's goalkeeper Cristoforo Brillante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Portugal's Felipe Barreto in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Roma's goalie prevented a goal. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them.

Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristoforo Brillante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. AC Roma's Cristoforo Brillante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save AC Roma from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute, Portugal's Felipe Barreto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 58th minute of the match, Caetano Moreira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristoforo Brillante saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alvaro Sforza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Cristoforo Brillante in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Brillante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 72nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza. But to his dismay, Alvaro Sforza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. In the 79th minute, Portugal's Felipinho Amorim ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristoforo Brillante. Cristoforo Brillante yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Di Rocco in the 93rd minute of play. Portugal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
