The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Barreto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Constantin Guittonneau. That made the score 1-1 in the 10 minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match, Daniel Pimentel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Constantin Guittonneau saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğan Şimşektürk in the 40th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Feroces were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lou Lou took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Portugal's goalie and right to Malcom Lochon. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Portugal's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Portugal's attentive Graciano Coutinho managed to snatch the ball when Boris Marsac made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Malcom Lochon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Wilson Amorim, passed just outside the right post. 55 minutes into the game, Portugal's Felipe Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Constantin Guittonneau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 64th minute, Los Feroces's Doğan Şimşektürk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. 68 minutes into the match, Los Feroces's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Constantin Guittonneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doğan Şimşektürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Feroces's Doğan Şimşektürk. But to his dismay, Doğan Şimşektürk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Doğan Şimşektürk 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-4. Los Feroces's Fabrício Fantini was substituted for Geoffroy Dominguez. Doğan Şimşektürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Bartolomeu Dias. Lou Lou kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantin Guittonneau was left in no man's land by his defense there! Portugal's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
