Jerónimo Cardoso really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 28th minute of the match G. D. PENICHE V2 got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nestor Cresenciano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Nestor Cresenciano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but France's Maxime Durand did a great save. The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. Saúl Zambujal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Alberto Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the G. D. PENICHE V2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Pimenta couldn't finish the play. If Tato Orihuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Tato Orihuela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute Jerónimo Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Tato Orihuela came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remy Dupuy kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the France players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
