Takacs Tibor scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulgencio Villalcazar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giorgos Puyol was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Cuatrodeocho:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hungary:s goal. Fulgencio Villalcazar had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Antal Valentin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Batuhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Villalcazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 21st minute of play. When Hungary's Antal Valentin in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuatrodeocho's goalie prevented a goal. Major Barna took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Villalcazar. Fulgencio Villalcazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Fulgencio Villalcazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 32nd minute of play. Fulgencio Villalcazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Major Barna in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Villalcazar saved Cuatrodeocho from getting behind. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Major Barna sped through Cuatrodeocho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fulgencio Villalcazar. David Batuhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's David Batuhin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 45 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eduardo Zapico who took care of the corner kick. Cuatrodeocho's Eduardo Zapico was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Fulgencio Villalcazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 53rd minute, David Batuhin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Antal Valentins short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Fulgencio Villalcazar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 61 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Fulgencio Villalcazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Major Barna let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 67th minute shot 1-5 at rihgt post. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when Cuatrodeocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coronel Barberá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cuatrodeocho's Bertran Batuecas was substituted for David Batuhin. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
