Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, David Eikelkamp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sonny Ahlerot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Korneliusz Opat's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Korneliusz Opat helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Brunatni Bełchatów's Korneliusz Opat got a free kick in the 38th minute. Sonny Ahlerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 39th minute of play. Sonny Ahlerot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 42nd minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Gwidon Tomaka sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th match minute, Brunatni Bełchatów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartlomiej Grucza to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Brunatni Bełchatów getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ryszard Cizeski hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Brunatni Bełchatów got a freekick which was hit by Waclaw Sitko. Brunatni Bełchatów's Antoni Gizynski was substituted for Ryszard Cizeski. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Brunatni Bełchatów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waclaw Sitko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Brunatni Bełchatów's Olgierd Kaczanka got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Gwidon Tomaka came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Brunatni Bełchatów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwidon Tomaka couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Wim Wilmes took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Sonny Ahlerot to make any attempt to save it. Olgierd Kaczanka hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Brunatni Bełchatów's Sonny Ahlerot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 74th minute of play. Sonny Ahlerot made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Sonny Ahlerot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sonny Ahlerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Sonny Ahlerot in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olgierd Kaczanka charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olgierd Kaczanka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Wim Wilmes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sonny Ahlerot. That made the score 0-4 in the 95 minute of play. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
