When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Siqueira in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Elias Siqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Siqueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
