With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wim Wilmes in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 魏鹰真 saved 中国小学生冠军联队 from getting behind. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by 中国小学生冠军联队's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. In the 30th minute, 蔡骋峰 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31stth minute of the game Wim Wilmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 中国小学生冠军联队's 魏鹰真 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which 魏鹰真 however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 魏鹰真. That made the score 1-0 after 42 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 魏鹰真 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 魏鹰真 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 65th minute of the match. Netherlands walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
