Thanks to some nice moves Robin van Persie could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Wilson Amorim however easily saved by the left post. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Rodriguinho Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 22nd minute of play. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 29th minute of play. Portugal's attentive Bruno Bastos managed to snatch the ball when Simão do Vale made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Caetano Moreira hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Rodriguinho Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Rodriguinho Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 57th minute of the match. Faustino Almeida made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Pimentel. Rodriguinho Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 61st minute. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodriguinho Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Rodriguinho Sousa came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias. But to his dismay, Bartolomeu Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. ATHLETICO PRaiano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
