Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Martinez Cardenas sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martxelin Beilzo in the 13th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerazan Tarano hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Chris Nygaard scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Best Wall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th match minute, Made in Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iztal Autran to maneuver through the defense. Keld Paulsen was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Severo Labora capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Severo Labora really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Steen during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Lars Steen. In the 38th minute, Kenn Skou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenn Skou hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 52nd minute of play forced Made in Paraguay's goalkeeper Best Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Denmark booed when Made in Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malvin Pelegrina didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Made in Paraguay's Best Wall got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Labora in the 60th minute of play. Best Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 67 played minutes Made in Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Malvin Pelegrina. Made in Paraguay's Best Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Chris Nygaard could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Best Wall however easily saved by the left post. Best Wall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 71st minute. In the 80th minute, Bertram Svenningsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Labora in the 83rd minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Made in Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Best Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match Denmark got a corner. Made in Paraguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Denmark's corner Chris Nygaard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Best Wall quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Made in Paraguay could leave the field as winners, despite Denmark having more of the ball for most of the match.
