Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Håning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute of the match Watford FC got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ludvig Åkerman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ludvig Åkerman made a great header on Watford FC's corner, it was just that France's Maxime Durand managed to reach the ball for a save. Watford FC's Ben Foster proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Watford FC from getting a goal against them. France were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Watford FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Barbier took the corner. After taking down the ball on France's corner Alexis Bruneau fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ben Foster quite easily take care of the ball. France were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Watford FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Barbier took the corner. France's David Barbier was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ben Foster in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Philip Håning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Watford FC's Ben Foster got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 30 minutes, Jonathan Soon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Watford FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Soon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the France defense, Jonathan Soon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. The France fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maxime Durand should have stopped the shot. Alexandre Carrasqueira hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Camille Baume recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 played minutes Watford FC got a freekick which was hit by Josef Sjöberg. In the 39th minute, David Barbier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Soon in the 41st minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Soon to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Peletier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute Alexis Bruneau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Foster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Soon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 61st minute of play forced Watford FC's goalkeeper Ben Foster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Philip Håning left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Watford FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 67 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Philip Håning. In the 70th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Foster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute France were awarded a corner. David Barbier went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on France's corner David Barbier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ben Foster quite easily take care of the ball. After 74 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Beaux. The crowd rose to their feet as Philip Håning kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maxime Durand. That made the score 0-3 in the 75 minute of play. After 78 minutes of play, Watford FC's Jonathan Soon made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Bergdal hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maxence Durand kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Jonathan Soon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Quentin Beaux hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see France lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
