Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) River Plate's Artemio Filipo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rene Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 5th minute of play. Rene Chale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Chale came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Takacs Tibor. But to his dismay, Takacs Tibor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hungary's Takacs Tibor got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Chale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Penc took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fodor Daniel. Hungary's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Filipo in the 24th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Chale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 26th minute of the match. Rene Chale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. 冯岩默 hit a great ball. River Plate's 冯岩默 got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Ryszard Penc hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 54th play minutes Artemio Filipo shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Fodor Daniel and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 58th minute, Artemio Filipo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of River Plate's Rene Chale. Rene Chale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when 冯岩默 came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Rene Chale in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that River Plate's Rene Chale managed to reach the ball for a save. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Katona Janos in the 86th minute of play. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rene Chale firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 90th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Chale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 冯岩默 in the 95th minute of play.
