After taking down the ball on Firma Barnängen's corner Matthias Ekström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. In the 14th minute Mark Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Alcaraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. When Firma Barnängen's Mark Olsson in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Humberto Alcaraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Alcaraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Ekström in the 42nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Filipe Beradze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Frank Sachs took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rune Söder to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Alcaraz in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. The supporters of Germany booed when Firma Barnängen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Runberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Firma Barnängen were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Germany to leave the ground with a draw.
