Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Giusto ran back to his position shaking his head. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Giusto in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, Old BaoBaB Accademy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Junior Junel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 10th minute of play forced Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalkeeper Fabiano Violento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Giusto in the 11th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emiliano Giusto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Old BaoBaB Accademy's Fabiano Violento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 19th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Panino got free with Casper Claes in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabiano Violento came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Sander Dermaut got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. With his leg Casper Claes managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emiliano Giusto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fabiano Violento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 38th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Old BaoBaB Accademy defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabiano Violento. The Old BaoBaB Accademy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabiano Violento should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

After 51st play minutes Edward Vanderstraeten shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Fabiano Violento and just under the crossbar into goal. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabiano Violento having to make a save. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Giusto, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Ciro Panino fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Old BaoBaB Accademy's protests and gave Ciro Panino a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Old BaoBaB Accademy got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Panino. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabiano Violento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Buffone in the 75th minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Siebe Michiels could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Fabiano Violento however easily saved by the left post. Belgium's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 79th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalie and right to Simon Sabbe. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Old BaoBaB Accademy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 81 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabiano Violento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabiano Violento was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 85 minutes into the match, Emilio Buffone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Buffone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabiano Violento having to make a save. Old BaoBaB Accademy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten scored to the left of an out of position Fabiano Violento, making the score, 1-7. Belgium's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
