Miroslaw Dzerwucki scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 29th minute. Igor Furgal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Iwan Nakoneczny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 68th minute of the match. Igor Furgal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Furgal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kliczek&Syn walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
