Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Ágætis Byrjun's Arnout Boswijk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Simon Sabbe in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ágætis Byrjun's Han van Asten. Mathias Huiting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mathias Huiting was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute, Siebe Michiels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mathias Huiting. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Mathias Huiting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 19th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Mathias Huiting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ágætis Byrjun's Mathias Huiting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 21st minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Belgium's Yves Dervaux made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias Huiting was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27th play minutes Edward Vanderstraeten shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Mathias Huiting and just under the crossbar into goal. The throw-in from Siebe Michiels in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ágætis Byrjun's Paul van Mol. After having played for 30 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Dervaux came free, but Mathias Huiting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathias Huiting came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Mathias Huiting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mathias Huiting narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Sander Dermaut notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Ágætis Byrjun's Mathias Huiting. Mathias Huiting was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Mathias Huiting. Ágætis Byrjun's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Vanderstraeten to make the kick off. Ágætis Byrjun's Mathias Huiting proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Ágætis Byrjun from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Mathias Huiting had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Mathias Huiting came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Siebe Michiels. But to his dismay, Siebe Michiels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Mathias Huiting had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Patrick van der Valk's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick van der Valk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Patrick van der Valk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathias Huiting having to make a save. After 67 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Ágætis Byrjun's Mathias Huiting tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias Huiting made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Ágætis Byrjun's Lucien de Ridder managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Simon Sabbe in the 73 minute of the game. Ágætis Byrjun's Patrick van der Valk got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Patrick van der Valk off the ground. The supporters of Belgium booed when Ágætis Byrjun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick van der Valk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ágætis Byrjun defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathias Huiting. The Ágætis Byrjun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathias Huiting should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias Huiting made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. A hard shot 84 in the game by Edward Vanderstraeten from a close distance when the talented Mathias Huiting managed to make a qualified save. Ágætis Byrjun's players were relieved. Belgium's Siebe Michiels was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 89th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mathias Huiting. That made the score 0-15 after 91 minutes of play. Ágætis Byrjun's Mathias Huiting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 95th minute of play.
