Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Melberg came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sten Melberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Sten Melberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Di Röe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Herman Benett in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Melberg. Di Röe's attentive Edu Loss managed to snatch the ball when Chris Mergenthaler made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sten Melberg in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Di Röe's Urban Åkerberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chris Mergenthaler, made in the 37th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Melberg. Sven Krakouer charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven Krakouer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Germany fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! In the 41st minute of the game, Di Röe got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Sten Melberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Melberg in the 61st minute of play. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Melberg's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The throw-in from Chris Mergenthaler in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Di Röe's Urban Åkerberg. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 84 minutes, Romeo Gologan made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
