Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gigi Antohi took the kick off in the first half of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusebiu Budac narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebiu Budac was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Eusebiu Budac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusebiu Budac made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Eusebiu Budac was a little too slow when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 4-0. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 5-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebiu Budac, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Eusebiu Budac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wim Wilmes scored 6-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebiu Budac, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 56 played minutes Fotbal Club Otelul Galati got a freekick which was hit by Dan Volosin. After 57 played minutes, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eusebiu Budac came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Netherlands reached it. 59 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Eusebiu Budac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Narcis Ciuvică got a free kick in the 61st minute. Dan Volosin kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Eusebiu Budac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dumitru Fenici in the 68th minute. Eusebiu Budac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Eusebiu Budac didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. In the 77th match minute, Fotbal Club Otelul Galati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narcis Ciuvică to maneuver through the defense. Eusebiu Budac didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Netherlands's Lars Meesters shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 83 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Eusebiu Budac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusebiu Budac. Eusebiu Budac dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Eusebiu Budac didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. In the 93rd match minute, Fotbal Club Otelul Galati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Volosin to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Netherlands players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
