Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joep Ponk took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joep Ponk in the 3rd minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Manolo Bartumeu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joep Ponk went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joep Ponk in the 13th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Vitek. 16 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Bartumeu came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ágætis Byrjun booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bohumir Kohout didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Ágætis Byrjun's Georg Hagberg got control of the ball when Alan Rezek tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alejandro dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Ágætis Byrjun's Joep Ponk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ditlev Delmont went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick Heesen in the 43rd minute of play. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joep Ponk in the 44th minute of play. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Heesen in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Manolo Bartumeu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Vavrinec Holub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Czech Republic players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ágætis Byrjun were winning 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Jilek was the one to do the kick off. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick Heesen in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Joep Ponk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute, Joep Ponk fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vavrinec Holub, passed just outside the right post. Nick Heesen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Vavrinec Holub made a huge save. If Joep Ponk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Bartumeu in the 64th minute of play. Joep Ponk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ágætis Byrjun's Gitano Rubiero was substituted for Manolo Bartumeu. 70 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's Nick Heesen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vavrinec Holub narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Kvetoslav Janku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ditlev Delmont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Nick Heesen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. Ditlev Delmont was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Ágætis Byrjun's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nick Heesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub got control of the ball when Nick Heesen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 82 minutes, Nick Heesen made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Nick Heesen put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Czech Republic's goalie and right to Ditlev Delmont. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Czech Republic's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Ágætis Byrjun's Nick Heesen. But to his dismay, Nick Heesen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. When the match was over Ágætis Byrjun could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Czech Republic throughout the match.
