In the 4th minute, Emil Seidler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvino Fuentes in the 6th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lagisa Naranco F.C. booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Seidler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Galishoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blas Vives having to make a save. Sandro Galishoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raúl Lopez de Toro's late challenge caught a Austria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raúl Lopez de Toro helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Acarreta during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvino Fuentes to strike the kick off in the second half. Raúl Lopez de Toro was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Austria made a substitution. Manuel Buber replaced Fabio Schneider. After a rather tough play, Austria's Emil Seidler got a free kick in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Austria's Fabio Auer got control of the ball when Alvino Fuentes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lagisa Naranco F.C.'s goalkeeper Blas Vives, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Lagisa Naranco F.C. getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Diego Ruiz hit a great ball. Lagisa Naranco F.C.'s Blas Vives played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonhard Maier in the 68th minute of play. Nico Waismann kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Leonhard Maier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Fabio Auer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvino Fuentes's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lagisa Naranco F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
