Porziano Marchitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Truman Harrington having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goalkeeper Truman Harrington had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Porziano Marchitelli. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Truman Harrington made a huge save. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Sostene Vitulli hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Reyes Boyle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Vittori skillfully saved the ball. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Lima in the 22nd minute of the match. Zena Busacca kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandru Eugen in the 24th minute of play. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reyes Boyle in the 26th minute. After 43 minutes, Gomberto Picozzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Italy and the PALMEIRAS-UTAH players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gomberto Picozzi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reyes Boyle in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

PALMEIRAS-UTAH made a substitution. Bailey Kerns replaced Alexandru Eugen. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes PALMEIRAS-UTAH got a freekick which was hit by Reyes Boyle. In the 58th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Truman Harrington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Gianpaolo Mascari threw the ball into play from the sideline. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Dominik Olchawa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Bailey Kerns sent off a good shot on target. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Vito Gaines was substituted for Leonardo Frazier. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Bailey Kerns tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Truman Harrington was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Truman Harrington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 79th minute of play. 79 minutes in the game, Sigfrido Auletta dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Zaccheo Andolina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Truman Harrington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Truman Harrington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Curto in the 87th minute of play. Adriano Curto took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Truman Harrington. Truman Harrington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Truman Harrington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Curto in the 96th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Curto came free, but Truman Harrington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Adriano Curto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Truman Harrington was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Italy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
