Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 12th minute of the match. Ekin Yaren made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Ekin Yaren got a throw-in 16 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Faruk Özakay. Faruk Özakay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andoni Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andoni Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as 14 YâReN FC's Toma Bo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavio Vittori. That made the score 1-0 after 43 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toma Bo was the one to do the kick off. Kayhan Özercan hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, one of 14 YâReN FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 14 YâReN FC. Andoni Zubizarreta had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Sigfrido Auletta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 64th minute of play forced 14 YâReN FC's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sol Campbell, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Andoni Zubizarreta made a huge save. Gomberto Picozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Ekin Yaren made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, 14 YâReN FC's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toma Bo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Andoni Zubizarreta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 83rd minute. Ekin Yaren made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Toma Bo however managed to control. The supporters of 14 YâReN FC booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siricio Liotta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina.
