Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emiliano Gentza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Wilfredo Jon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute Lars Steen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Gentza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute Denmark were awarded a corner. Chris Nygaard went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Mikkel Wulff to score against Emiliano Gentza in Søziedad Alkøhølika's goal. 1-1 after 16 minutes. Wilfredo Jon charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfredo Jon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Søziedad Alkøhølika was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Jon to maneuver through the defense. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Bertram Svenningsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Gentza was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Carolo Caitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Gentza saved Søziedad Alkøhølika from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Gentza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to Søziedad Alkøhølika getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ladislao Martinez hit a great ball. Bertram Svenningsen took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Gentza. Emiliano Gentza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The supporters of Denmark booed when Søziedad Alkøhølika was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Nuñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Chris Nygaard. In the 46th minute, Mikkel Wulff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfredo Jon to strike the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Gentza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When Carolo Caitano came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Søziedad Alkøhølika fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Caitano couldn't finish the play. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. 67 minutes into the game, Bertram Svenningsen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Søziedad Alkøhølika's Wilfredo Jon quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 68 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Caitano came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Caitano took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 72nd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Søziedad Alkøhølika's Ladislao Martinez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Emiliano Gentza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Caitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Steen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Arnulfo Cedro with Carolo Caitano as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 93rd minute, Simon Bendtsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Denmark left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Søziedad Alkøhølika.
