Fred Guihard started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Balla 1926 fc's goal looked a bit too open when Hegedus Henrik came free, but Claudio Patricelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Pedro Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Guihard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Hori hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Claudio Patricelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Antal Valentin scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudio Patricelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Balla 1926 fc's Claudio Patricelli did a great save. After 23 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Patricelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Patricelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Balla 1926 fc defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Patricelli. The Balla 1926 fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Patricelli should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute Geirhvatur Ómarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes Balla 1926 fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Balla 1926 fc's Claudio Patricelli did a great save. In the 44th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Patricelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Pedro Gaúcho's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Gaúcho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Balla 1926 fc's Pedro Gaúcho got a free kick in the 50th minute. Claudio Patricelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Claudio Patricelli made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Guihard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Balla 1926 fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Balla 1926 fc's Claudio Patricelli did a great save. 82 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Guihard came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Balla 1926 fc getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alvise Silvi hit a great ball. Hungary played a much better game than Balla 1926 fc and deserved their victory. The Balla 1926 fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
