Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Beltran in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Hegedus Henrik hit a great ball. With a little luck, Independiente's Pepe Santoro got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Pepe Santoro made a huge save. 59 minutes into the match, Major Barna notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Independiente's Pepe Santoro. Pepe Santoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After taking down the ball on Independiente's corner Florentino Inge fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Antal Valentin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pepe Santoro. That made the score 0-7 after 66 minutes of play. When Raimundo Frans fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente's protests and gave Raimundo Frans a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Takacs Tibor. In the 83rd minute, Sören Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
