Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Steven Chaptal made the kick off which started today's match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neal Weatherby in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arty Behla who took care of the corner kick. 9 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steven Chaptal. After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aden Couzens came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Neal Weatherby hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Chaptal came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Elderslie Magpies's Rick Souness nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Corbett Alonso scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Arty Behla hit a great ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 36th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Aden Couzens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Elderslie Magpies's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elderslie Magpies's Aden Couzens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 38th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corbett Alonso in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Ralph Gorham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Aden Couzens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 55th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Chaptal in the 57th minute of play. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Aden Couzens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. Aden Couzens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 73rd minute of play. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aden Couzens having to interfere. In the 76th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aden Couzens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elderslie Magpies made a substitution. Ryszard Cipa replaced Arty Behla. A sloppy throw-in by Burns Muller in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Willy Stieler. In the 84th minute Rick Souness shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elderslie Magpies were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robben Robbermond took the corner. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Elderslie Magpies players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
