Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edward Vanderstraeten took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Aloísio Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Aloísio Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes Belgium's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reyes Boyle who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Joachim Backlund getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Truman Harrington. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 22nd minute of play forced PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goalkeeper Truman Harrington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Aloísio Lima notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Truman Harrington in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute of the match Belgium got a corner. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Truman Harrington in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Truman Harrington to make any attempt to save it. After 36 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Clocheret. 39 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Truman Harrington was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Truman Harrington. Truman Harrington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Bailey Kerns was substituted for Alexandru Eugen. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bailey Kerns to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Reyes Boyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yves Dervaux scored 6-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Truman Harrington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Truman Harrington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Truman Harrington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of PALMEIRAS-UTAH booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nigel Devos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Truman Harrington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PALMEIRAS-UTAH were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reyes Boyle took the corner. After taking down the ball on PALMEIRAS-UTAH's corner Reyes Boyle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Casper Claes quite easily take care of the ball. In the 68th minute Bailey Kerns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bailey Kernss short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Casper Claes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 74 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Truman Harrington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the PALMEIRAS-UTAH defense, Yves Dervaux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Truman Harrington. The PALMEIRAS-UTAH fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Truman Harrington should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute Bailey Kerns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Truman Harrington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Lenny Clocheret hit a great ball. When Reyes Boyle came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the PALMEIRAS-UTAH fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reyes Boyle couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PALMEIRAS-UTAH the free kick. In the 95th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the PALMEIRAS-UTAH defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Truman Harrington. The PALMEIRAS-UTAH fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Truman Harrington should have stopped the shot.
