Gijsbert ter Kruimer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Jan-Olof Eliasson got a free kick in the 56th minute. Belchior Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 63rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Belchior Saldanha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 70th minute, Lars Meesters reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Belchior Saldanha. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 73rd minute, Wim Wilmes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Argi Jimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belchior Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball had pretty good speed, but Belchior Saldanha firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arnout Reekers didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when La Gallardeta's Clemente Anaya shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Gallardeta.
