Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aloísio Lima got the match started through his kick off. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Eugen in the 3rd minute of play. Truman Harrington made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great ball. In the 12th minute of the match Reyes Boyle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Truman Harrington breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Jorge Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PALMEIRAS-UTAH were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reyes Boyle took the corner. The corner led PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Jorge Pirani to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnout Reekers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored to the left of an out of position Truman Harrington, making the score, 1-1. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Truman Harrington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Pirani in the 35th minute of the match. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Truman Harrington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 42 minutes of play, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Jorge Pirani made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the game, Jorge Pirani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. PALMEIRAS-UTAH made a substitution. Bailey Kerns replaced Alexandru Eugen. Jorge Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. The Netherlands players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PALMEIRAS-UTAH were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Jorge Pirani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Aloísio Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bailey Kerns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Truman Harrington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Vito Gaines was substituted for Leonardo Frazier. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Reyes Boyle got a free kick in the 79th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Olchawa in the 87th minute of play. After 87 minutes, Vito Gaines mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PALMEIRAS-UTAH and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vito Gaines hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Aloísio Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Chants of PALMEIRAS-UTAH echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Netherlands had held the ball for most of the match.
