Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Konrad Dunajski got the match started through his kick off. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miroslaw Gejda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Gejda having to interfere. Miroslaw Gejda came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Germany's Frank Sachs. But to his dismay, Frank Sachs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 12 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miroslaw Gejda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Konrad Dunajski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Gejda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albin Holweck during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Frank Sachs made a precise shot to the right of Miroslaw Gejda. Legia Warszawa 【L】's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 33 minutes in the game Franciszek Jaroszewicz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Franciszek Jaroszewicz. Legia Warszawa 【L】's Miroslaw Gejda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 34th minute of play. Miroslaw Gejda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 38th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa 【L】's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Miroslaw Gejda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miroslaw Gejda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sachs went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Willy Stieler made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Legia Warszawa 【L】's Hugon Prusek. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Miroslaw Gejda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Legia Warszawa 【L】's Zygmunt Bugajski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Malte Schiele in the 60 minute of the game. Legia Warszawa 【L】's Hugon Prusek quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Linus Schwerner, made in the 63rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Legia Warszawa 【L】's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslaw Gejda came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Legia Warszawa 【L】 defense, Frank Sachs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miroslaw Gejda. The Legia Warszawa 【L】 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miroslaw Gejda should have stopped the shot. Chris Mergenthaler made in the 75th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Frank Sachs. 76 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miroslaw Gejda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Germany's Chris Mergenthaler shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Miroslaw Gejda but with some difficulty. 92 minutes in the game Malte Schiele did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Frank Sachs. With a little luck, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Miroslaw Gejda got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line.
