Miloslav Pícha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Holub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Vít Biskup got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's goal looked a bit too open when Metod Mlynar came free, but Miloslav Pícha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Suchy kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Oliver Holub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Metod Mlynar in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miloslav Pícha saved SK Slavoj Vyšehrad from getting behind. In the 33rd minute Vavrinec Koleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miloslav Pícha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Ilja Plíhal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Henrich Slany but with some difficulty. A collision led to SK Slavoj Vyšehrad getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Radek Pleskot hit a great ball.

54 minutes into the match, Metod Mlynar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miloslav Pícha, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Metod Mlynar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miloslav Pícha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Miloslav Pícha got control of the ball when Metod Mlynar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pavel Kužel kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Metod Mlynar came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Slovakia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metod Mlynar couldn't finish the play. After 75 minutes of play Slovakia's Vít Biskup was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of SK Slavoj Vyšehrad booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vít Biskup didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's goalkeeper Miloslav Pícha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Metod Mlynar. 82 minutes into the match, Metod Mlynar notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Miloslav Pícha. Miloslav Pícha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Daniel Suchy fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovakia's protests and gave Daniel Suchy a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Daniel Suchy got a free kick in the 84th minute. Zigmund Maliar got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vavrinec Koleno. Zigmund Maliar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Slovakia played a much better game than SK Slavoj Vyšehrad and deserved their victory. The SK Slavoj Vyšehrad players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
