Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Frédson Melo made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Hegedus Henrik hit a great ball. Catalin Haldan's Olavi Liib proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Catalin Haldan from getting a goal against them. Major Barnas short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Olavi Liib to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Frédson Melo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. After 14 minutes of play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olavi Liib was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olavi Liib made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Balazs Lajos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Olavi Liib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Antal Valentin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Catalin Haldan's Eugen Morozan got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Catalin Haldan's Olavi Liib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Catalin Haldan's goalkeeper Olavi Liib had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Catalin Haldan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Catalin Haldan's Olavi Liib managed to reach the ball for a save. Živko Dabović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Catalin Haldan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. After 48 played minutes Catalin Haldan got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Melo. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Olavi Liib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Catalin Haldan booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes Catalin Haldan got a freekick which was hit by Radu Curea. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Olavi Liib didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédson Melo in the 60th minute of the match. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Onete in the 61st minute of play. Catalin Haldan's Olavi Liib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 64th minute of play. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavi Liib having to interfere. In the 68th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavi Liib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olavi Liib saved Catalin Haldan from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olavi Liib narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Olavi Liib. Catalin Haldan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Catalin Haldan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Olavi Liib despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavi Liib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hungary fully deserved thier win.
