Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Anton Pieler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Bruno Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Anton Pieler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sacha Lilley in the 6th minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Anton Pieler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gunnar Retov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Little having to interfere. Ian Little showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The throw-in from Manuel Viñaspre in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Bruno Bastos. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalkeeper Ian Little had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. Ian Little came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Sacha Lilley came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Viñaspre hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Viriato Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sacha Lilley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Ian Little reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Little saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Astreix&ObelixSoccer made a substitution. Zheng Shi Yang replaced Stig Svanberg. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gunnar Retov, made in the 68th minute of the game. Ian Little showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipinho Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Astreix&ObelixSoccer's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
