The Scotland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Higgins should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dumitru Fenici in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Higgins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Antohi in the 86th minute of the match. After 90 minutes Scotland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Narcis Ciuvică who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Narcis Ciuvică got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alexander Higgins quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
