Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Ruscova getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Aurel Trifan hit a great ball. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 8th minute of the match. Helmuth Duckadam came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Zaccheo Andolina. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sostene Vitulli hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Çetin Kantürk made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 19th minute of play. If Porziano Marchitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 21st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, FC Ruscova's Flavio Vittori threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zachary Snaza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 25 minutes of play, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helmuth Duckadam was left in no man's land by his defense there! Çetin Kantürk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Siricio Liotta hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. After the first half Italy were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Çetin Kantürk made a kick off. With a little luck, FC Ruscova's Helmuth Duckadam got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Verratti in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Aurel Trifan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Snaza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute of the match, Siricio Liotta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Helmuth Duckadam saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Porziano Marchitelli scored 1-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Helmuth Duckadam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Helmuth Duckadam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aurel Trifan, made in the 83rd minute of the game. FC Ruscova's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Curto in the 87th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Italy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
