Eugenio Asier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6thth minute of the game Mauricio Macías who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 8th minute of play forced CERPA's goalkeeper Eugenio Asier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after CERPA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Vörös Henrik heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Asier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eugenio Asier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CERPA's Eugenio Asier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CERPA! Eugenio Asier had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Antal Valentin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Antal Valentin did an outstanding performance 34 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-2 to the right of an irritated Eugenio Asier in the goal. Eugenio Asier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 37th minute of the match. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CERPA's Eugenio Asier did a great save. In the 41st minute Mauricio Macías shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 49th minute of the match CERPA got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Xabat ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauricio Macías to make the kick off. Mauricio Macías received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eugenio Asier could save by the left post. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Macías, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Benedicto Medero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Eugenio Asier made a huge save. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, CERPA's Wilhelm Volle got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Asier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Olimpiu Morozan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind CERPA's goalkeeper Eugenio Asier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Hungary booed when CERPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Morozan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Macías, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, CERPA's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Eugenio Asier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CERPA's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Asier came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The CERPA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
