Anfilogino Alfonsi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Wilson Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Eisenheld in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Alfonsi came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ralf Szüczs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 43rd minute of play forced FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Marcel Mallinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anfilogino Alfonsi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. It was a well-played corner which Graciano Coutinho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Anfilogino Alfonsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Mallinger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Szüczs in the 62nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FV Wienerwald's Per Nienhaus was substituted for Pierre Van den Plas. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Szüczs in the 69th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Ralf Szüczs made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. FV Wienerwald's Pankracy Pilitowski was substituted for Anfilogino Alfonsi. Per Nienhaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Hanschirik came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per Nienhaus scored 3-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Nienhaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. FV Wienerwald were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Portugal for a fine match.
