After 11 played minutes Ziemowit Borcz rounded Denmark's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigiusz Kaczynski having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Bartlomiej Dlugi took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Keld Paulsen to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ziemowit Borcz sped through Denmark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziemowit Borcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Remigiusz Kaczynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 37th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Gortaty's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mikkel Wulff fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 56 minutes, Radowit Siedlecki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gortaty and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 69 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Radowit Siedlecki. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 70th minute of play forced Gortaty's goalkeeper Remigiusz Kaczynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great ball. Gortaty's Bartlomiej Dlugi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Keld Paulsen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franciszek Wicherek in the 75th minute of play. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigiusz Kaczynski having to interfere. Gortaty's Aleksander Bykowski was substituted for Bartlomiej Dlugi. The Gortaty support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
