After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Pilblad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Pilblad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Flock of Eagles's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Pilblad came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Pilblad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Tobias Pilblad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 23rd minute of play. If Joacim Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hegedus Henrik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 27 played minutes Flock of Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Filip Wennersten. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Pilblad having to interfere. After 43 minutes Flock of Eagles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Flock of Eagles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Filip Wennersten thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tobias Pilblad, a very annoying self made goal in the 44th minute which led to 0-1. Tobias Pilblad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Mergea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Pilblad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Mergea came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabin Mergea in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, Flock of Eagles's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Major Barna fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Antal Valentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tobias Pilblad. That made the score 0-2 in the 74 minute of play. Flock of Eagles made a substitution. Jonathan Andreasson replaced Åke Hägg. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Flock of Eagles's Kent Asklöv got a free kick in the 95th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Pilblad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Flock of Eagles supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hungary's performance. The match ended with a win for Hungary.
