Costin Jecu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Ireno Peon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Ireno Peon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Benito Raphael in the 94th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Despite being the better team, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
