Sabin Mergea scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 26 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Albin Holweck fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Albin Holweck a yellow card for diving instead. Sabin Mergea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Albin Holweck was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabin Mergea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 74thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flock of Eagles's Tobias Pilblad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Flock of Eagles's Tobias Pilblad got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flock of Eagles made a substitution. Christoffer Kock replaced Olle Sigman. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flock of Eagles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Frank Sachs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tobias Pilblad quite easily take care of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Flock of Eagles's goalkeeper Tobias Pilblad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. The supporters of Germany booed when Flock of Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Kock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Tobias Pilblad made a huge save. Vilhelm Kvist took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After having played for 95 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flock of Eagles.
