Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sabin Mergea started the match with the kick off. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Kvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Pilblad saved Flock of Eagles from getting behind. After having played for 7 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Sabin Mergea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flock of Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Willy Stieler kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Olle Sigman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Joacim Jonsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Åke Hägg made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Willy Stieler. 32 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Mergea came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 36th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Flock of Eagles's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Pilblad came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Pilblad having to interfere. Åke Hägg kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 61st minute of play forced Flock of Eagles's goalkeeper Tobias Pilblad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Kent Asklöv managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flock of Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Asklöv was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Åke Hägg with Vilhelm Kvist as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Vilhelm Kvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flock of Eagles's Jonathan Andreasson was substituted for Åke Hägg. Vilhelm Kvist made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Osvald Backlund immediately put the ball in play. 87 minutes into the match, Flock of Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Tobias Pilblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 92 minutes on the clock, Jan-Erik Heggert commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Germany a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frank Sachs, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Flock of Eagles's Tobias Pilblad. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 97th minute. Sabin Mergea, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
