When Remy Dupuy fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored France's protests and gave Remy Dupuy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remy Dupuy to maneuver through the defense. David Barbier shot from long distance in the 21st minute, but Xande Buffon was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 26th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxence Durand to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Nicolas De la Cruz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of France's Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Jacob Santalla got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 44th minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Guga Velasco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Guga Velasco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of New Joinville - FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Guga Velasco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New Joinville - FSCMZ! Xande Buffon had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping David Barbier's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Peletier made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Demetrius Xande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Joinville - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. After 50 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Demetrius Xande. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 52nd minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xande Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Claudinho Terra replaced Nicolas De la Cruz. After a rather tough play, France's Robert Chapuis got a free kick in the 74th minute. Alexis Bruneau kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Thomás Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
