Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Beppe Ciccone managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Beverpatrouille's supporters rose to their feet, but Beppe Ciccone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mbaka Mbolu in the 5th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Beppe Ciccone who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Feliciano Peio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Jonatan Corderall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Jonatan Corderall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Joost Asselberghs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Mbaka Mbolu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Beverpatrouille's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mbaka Mbolu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ray De Lauw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graciano Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 19th minute. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Graciano Coutinho hit a great ball. A hard shot 25 in the game by Mbaka Mbolu from a close distance when the talented Wilson Amorim managed to make a qualified save. Portugal's players were relieved. In the 28th minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray De Lauw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ray De Lauw stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 30 minutes of play, De Beverpatrouille's Mbaka Mbolu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ray De Lauw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mbaka Mbolu to make the kick off. Mbaka Mbolu might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mbaka Mbolu ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mbaka Mbolu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Ray De Lauw in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustino Almeida made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felipe Barreto immediately put the ball in play. Ray De Lauw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 64th minute of play forced De Beverpatrouille's goalkeeper Ray De Lauw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, De Beverpatrouille's goal looked a bit too open when Graciano Coutinho came free, but Ray De Lauw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ray De Lauw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graciano Coutinho in the 66th minute of the match. Mbaka Mbolu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. After 75 played minutes De Beverpatrouille got a freekick which was hit by Joost Asselberghs. In the 76th minute of the match, Bartolomeu Dias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ray De Lauw saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Mbaka Mbolu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The corner led to De Beverpatrouille's Mbaka Mbolu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Mbaka Mbolu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mbaka Mbolu in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Mbaka Mbolu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipinho Amorim came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ray De Lauw could save by the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The De Beverpatrouille fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
