When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cyryl Kostka was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Cyryl Kostka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 86th minute of play. Chris Nygaard took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cyryl Kostka. Cyryl Kostka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2.
