Moïse Labruyère was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Émilien Tessier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Collinet made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Olav Graversen. In the 19th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olav Graversen to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Youri Djorkaeff sped through Denmark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. 26 minutes in the game Côme Rouquette did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Youri Djorkaeff. After 27 minutes, Simon Bendtsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the Avel Vat players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Simon Bendtsen got a free kick in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Billy Bouget was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avel Vat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Billy Bouget hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moïse Labruyère made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 38th match minute, Avel Vat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lilian Thuram to maneuver through the defense. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. Bilal Moutte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Youri Djorkaeff to strike the kick off in the second half. Bilal Moutte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Youri Djorkaeff made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Simon Collinet kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Denmark's Chris Nygaard couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Avel Vat. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Moïse Labruyère didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Moïse Labruyère showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 69th minute of the match. Simon Collinet kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Moïse Labruyère made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moïse Labruyère made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Lilian Thuram hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The long shot by Lars Steen in the 78th minute really tested Moïse Labruyère's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A hard shot 79 in the game by Bertram Svenningsen from a close distance when the talented Moïse Labruyère managed to make a qualified save. Avel Vat's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Djorkaeff in the 80th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Bilal Moutte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avel Vat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. After 86 played minutes Avel Vat got a freekick which was hit by Bilal Moutte. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Chris Nygaard took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Moïse Labruyère to make any attempt to save it. Côme Rouquette hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The Avel Vat fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
