INTOCABLES 2oo4's Diego Armando managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Faustino Almeida in the 38 minute of the game. When Viriato Moura fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Viriato Moura a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Daniel Pimentel hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Zhuang Xing Ting struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTOCABLES 2oo4. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by INTOCABLES 2oo4's Zhuang Xing Ting. But to his dismay, Zhuang Xing Ting quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 58th minute, Karl-Oskar Apelkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Apelkvist in the 58th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Bartolomeu Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoj Espinosa in the 75th minute of play. Manoj Espinosa made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zhuang Xing Ting immediately put the ball in play. In the 85th minute Zhuang Xing Ting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manoj Espinosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-2. If Manoj Espinosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. INTOCABLES 2oo4's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
