In the 22nd match minute, interface was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soubhi Lahoua to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Switzerland's Samuele Kunz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The throw-in from Tarek El Bassel in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Switzerland's Timo Siegmund. Hias Nüssli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amin El Brazi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Amin El Brazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in interface's zone, Jacinto Maurer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nizar Boughanem came out of the goal and Jacinto Maurer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Amin El Brazi made a precise shot to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Tarek El Bassel made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Switzerland's Samuele Kunz. Hias Nüssli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amin El Brazi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 62 minute of play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amin El Brazi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Hias Nüssli made a huge save. Samuele Kunz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, interface's goal looked a bit too open when Samuele Kunz came free, but Nizar Boughanem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Switzerland got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Maurer. Soubhi Lahoua's late challenge caught a Switzerland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Soubhi Lahoua helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Switzerland booed when interface was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soubhi Lahoua didn't get a good kick on the ball.
