Belgium were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after INTOCABLES 2oo4's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. The corner led to Belgium's Simon Sabbe getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Oskar Apelkvist in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. INTOCABLES 2oo4's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. Karl-Oskar Apelkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casper Claes having to make a save. In the 21st minute Karl-Oskar Apelkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belgium! The goalkeeper, Casper Claes, was totally fooled by INTOCABLES 2oo4's Karl-Oskar Apelkvist, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to INTOCABLES 2oo4 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Socorro Atacan hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 35 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Bresson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Belgium's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Karl-Oskar Apelkvist scored to the left of an out of position Casper Claes, making the score, 2-1. Robert Bresson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, INTOCABLES 2oo4's Robert Bresson got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Robert Bresson made a huge save. Karl-Oskar Apelkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Karl-Oskar Apelkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. INTOCABLES 2oo4's Arnaitz Bartumeu was substituted for Eche Mingas. In the 67th minute, Manoj Espinosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INTOCABLES 2oo4 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. A hard shot 75 in the game by Edward Vanderstraeten from a close distance when the talented Robert Bresson managed to make a qualified save. INTOCABLES 2oo4's players were relieved. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by INTOCABLES 2oo4's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of INTOCABLES 2oo4 booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Floris Claeys didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
