The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Yves Dervaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Bird saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Alexander Bird as he didn't even see the shot coming. Edward Vanderstraetens short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Alexander Bird to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Burton in the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Mayo's goalkeeper Alexander Bird had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. 86 minutes into the game, Lenny Clocheret was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mayo the free kick. In the 86th minute, Lenny Clocheret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Bird prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Belgium players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mayo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
