Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Denmark's Olav Graversen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bertil Gudmundsson. Bertil Gudmundsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 8th minute, Gilbert Paciuszko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Antonello Costantini's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonello Costantini helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Antonello Costantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertram Svenningsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertil Gudmundsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Lars Steen. When Ognyan Klyashev came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Football Wizards 59 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ognyan Klyashev couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Mikkel Wulff fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bertil Gudmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 31st minute of play. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Jaruzelski in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Denmark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sylwester Jaruzelski was slow to take the kick. During this time Football Wizards 59's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sylwester Jaruzelski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Keld Paulsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mathias Ludvigsen thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Keld Paulsen, a very annoying self made goal in the 35th minute which led to 1-2. Bertil Gudmundsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Gudmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Football Wizards 59's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Gudmundsson came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Football Wizards 59's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Football Wizards 59's Franklin Sarron was substituted for Gilbert Paciuszko. Football Wizards 59 made a substitution. Gilles Jeanroy replaced Pierre-Emmanuel Gallou. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. Bertil Gudmundsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Ognyan Klyashev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ognyan Klyashev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Bertil Gudmundsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Ognyan Klyashev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Football Wizards 59's Ognyan Klyashev got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute Mikkel Wulff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Gudmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Ludvigsen kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Bertil Gudmundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Bertil Gudmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Ludvigsen hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 94th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense.
